What do I do if my bank does not integrate with plaid?
While the Plaid integration is helpful, it is by no means required. In fact, approximately 40% of WickedFile customers operate successfully without Plaid connected.
If you’re looking to integrate Plaid but your bank is not supported, please review the alternative options below.
Option 1: Use a Different Account (If Available)
-
A business credit card
-
A secondary bank account
-
Or another account that does connect through Plaid
Many shops connect their primary operating credit card, since most vendor spend flows through there.
Option 2: Quickbooks Online
WickedFile integrates with Quickbooks Online. Many features of our plaid integration overlap with our QBO feature. This includes digital transactions from a credit card or bank account.
Option 3: Continue Using WickedFile Without Transactions
Plaid integration is helpful, but it is not required to run a strong AP process in the AP Hub.
You can still:
-
Upload invoices
-
Upload credit memos
-
Upload statements
-
Code invoices in the AP Hub
-
Reconcile statements
-
Track credits and prevent profit leaks
The AP Hub is invoice-first. Transaction matching is an added validation layer — not the foundation of the workflow.
