What if Plaid loses sync with WickedFile?

Although rare, we have seen instances where Plaid can lose sync with WickedFile. In this article, we will go over how to fix this issue.

If you suspect you are missing recent bank transactions, it is possible that the plaid integration with WickedFile has lost sync. To check and confirm if this is the case:

1. Click on "System Settings" on the side menu

2. Then, click on "Status"

Here you will be able to see when Plaid last synced with your account. If it has been more than 48 hours since your last sync, you will need to integrate plaid again.

To re-sync your plaid account with WickedFile:

3. Scroll back over to the side menu and click on "Integrations"

4. Then click on "Bank Account & Credit Card Integrations"

Now click on the credit card or bank account that is not syncing and click "Refresh Account". This will reset your Plaid integration inside of WickedFile for that specific card or bank account.

**NOTE** Please allow up to 24 hours for the Plaid integration to reset. If the problem persists after 24 hours, please delete the account and add it again.
